Lund School of Economics and Management (LUSEM) is one of Europe's leading business schools, known for its international character and high academic standards.

With a wide range of educational programs at both bachelor's and master's levels, we annually attract students from all over the world who strive to develop a deep understanding of the role of the economy in society. International accreditations are an essential part of the quality assurance and development system at the Lund School of Economics and Management, and we are triple crowned since 2021, having achieved accreditations by EQUIS, AMBA and AACSB.

Specialization in International Marketing and Brand Management

The master's program International Marketing and Brand Management - one of Sweden's most attractive programs in marketing - offers a specialized specialization in retail. The program enrolls approximately 120 students every year, students from over 30 different countries, creating a unique international study environment.

A course with focus on retail is given in the autumn semester and involves around 70 students. It addresses current issues in the development of retail, such as consumer behavior, channel strategies, sustainability and digital transformation.

Thesis work

During the spring semester, around ten thesis groups choose to delve deeper into the retail area. Several of these master's theses are of very high quality and have been published as scientific articles. This demonstrates the strong research foundation within the program, and the opportunity for students to contribute to new knowledge in collaboration with companies and societal actors.
